The game would even allow you to go through a wedding ceremony and have a child. Unfortunately, this system doesn't seem to exist in the English version of the game.

Since I really wanted to marry a girl as a female protagonist, I married him, because he's the closest I had to marrying a girl. I know that's not how it works, but, eh.
